Twin Hearts is not our first choice. Good Shepherd in Fairview talaga gusto namin kasi dun na kami nagsisimba ni Jason eversince naging kami. Kaya medyo may sentimental value sa amin yung simbahan na yun. But my Dad insisted na gawin namin ang wedding outside Fairview for the reason na masyado na malayo yung place namin. Madami pa naman kami guest galing from the South Area of Manila. Para meet half way lahat ... kaya eto na napili namin. Since recommended din to ng friends namin and one of our Ninongs sa kabilang street lang nakatira, pwede daw niya lakarin hahaha!

October is a rainy month ... kaya pinili namin yung may ambiance ng garden pero covered siya. I haven't seen Fernwood and Gazebo Royale, ang alam ko di kaya ng budget namin yung dalawang place na yun hahaha! We saw Oasis kaso it's too big naman and pag umulan I'm sure aanggihan pa rin kami. Sana di na umulan talaga... maloloka kami nun I'm sure. Ok kausap si Ms. Nora... nakakatuwa siya, kinuwentuhan pa niya kami about mga business niya. I don't know kung sino ang arki or I.D. sa kanila ng hubby niya, pero tingin ko siya eh. Kasi siya daw nag-design nung Windmills and Rainforest.

At first I was hesitant to get him. Coz I know he's sikat. Pero tumugma naman siya sa budget namin So I got him. And he's so nice to talk with. Open siya sa ideas mo. You'll never go wrong with him. Plus, mom loves him that she already ordered another gown she could wear to a friend's wedding. Oh di ba? And I think sa kanya na rin magpapagawa ng Barong and pants ang groom ko. Too bad I forgot to get a copy of his sketch for my bridal gown. But he will send it on my email anytime.

I saw a lot of works from photographers recommended at W@W pero si Paul Vincent na talaga yung nakita kong ok yung trabaho. Saka si Paul, parang bestfriend mo ... pag professional kausap, professional din siya, pag comic dating mo, comic din siya... yun yung gusto namin ... comfortable kami sa magiging photographer namin.

Got him thru Paul Vincent. Nag-tie up sila for weddings ... good deal talaga to get both of them. Jen, a fellow October w@wie bride, told me na he got Dan also for her video. Ayos... Dream team na ito hehehe! Nakakatawa pa yung first meet namin, he asked agad "She, sure ka ba ako gusto mong maging videographer" pa-pity dog effect...  tawa ako ng tawa. Kasi nagka-phobia siya sa mga taga-W@W kaya di ko siya masisisi. Excited na daw siya to make our AVP kasi pareho daw kami architect ... huh... feeling ko nawiwindang lang yun si Dan kaya niya nasabi yun. And sabi niya he'll make it memorable daw ... sweeeeeeeetttt!

I got his contacts and good feedbacks from a W@wie ... I forgot her na sa dami kasi ng sinisilip ko na blogs eh.  I emailed him right away kung ano ang kailangan ko for my Entourage. And he quoted me na pasok sa budget namin. Ang dami pang freebies and kasama na dun ung free delivery on my wedding day. Kaya less stress na yun for us di ba? Kaya I paid our DP agad.

We already have a fondant cake with our package in Windmills but we wanted a cupcake tree for the cake ceremony. So I looked for a cake supplier ... 3 of them quoted me the same, but I've chosen Sugarbox. Because a lot of my w@wie friends recommended Sugarbox. Kaya siya na din kinuha ko. Pasok naman sa budget kaya ok na :) Ms. emily is easy to deal with. And sabi niya I looked like jolina Magdangal daw... ahihihi nambola pa *blush*

Velvet Mood and Velvet Mood Musicale are both good. Pero si Ms. April lang nag-reply sa queries ko kaya siya na kinuha ko. Napaka-professional kausap kaya nagustuhan ko rin. I can't wait to hear them play on our wedding. I met Mr. Bojo (their pianist) to pay our downpayment. What I like about them is that they tell you agad if they can play it or not, yung iba kasing  band, they will just say yes tapos pagdating ng wedding mo, hindi din nasunod yung songs na gusto mo na they will play.

My first choice was really to get Matus... but since we're in Suarez na in Gateway and yung nagustuhan naman namin ni Jason na design is same price with Matus kaya siya na ang kinuha namin. Paid downpayment and the rings is ready for pick up na in May 27. Ang bilis di ba? Its a plain two-tone, 14K rings. Ganun ka-simple :) may lifetime warranty pa. And it can also be upgraded later on if you wanted it to be in platinum.

A lot of W@wies are raving for Gerri's works. Since lahat busy na, and the stress me and my MOH experienced when we did our Ceremonial Cord and Kissing bells, parang napagod na kami at bumili nalang ng ready made. hahaha!

She's my first choice talaga ... pero something came up that a friend of hers is gonna be married at the same date as mine. Kaya napa-booked na pala siya on my date :( But last May 28, she texted me if I have an HMUA already, and I said I'm still looking. She said that she's already available for my date because her friend changed her wedding date! watta relief... maybe she's really meant to be my HMUA after all :)

I've heard about Vprojekt from Weddings At Work. Lifesaver namin siya since we need our invites to be printed out na bago mag-September. In 3 days, makikita na yung mock up ng invites mo. From there pag ok na lahat, pwede ng gawin ang invites. 100pcs muna kinuha namin since families naman yung mga guest namin so isang invites nalang yun per family. Pag kulang saka nalang ulit kami papagawa sa kanya. Sa ngayon 100 muna. It's a 2 page invites in Turquoise tied up in a yellow organza ribbon and with a yellow envelope. Alanganin yung size niya, parang lengthwise na bond paper siya. Basta simple but pretty siya :)

I got their contacts from a fellow W@wie, Shiela Yu. We went to their showroom ... and my God ... everything you need for your wedding is right there. I had a hard time choosing my souvenirs. But I ended up choosing this picture frame for the guest and a dog wine holder for the principal sponsors.
